Hey parents! February is here – a short month with cultural events like Valentine’s Day, Black History Month, Chinese New Year, and the occasional Leap Year. This year we find out in that special circumstance where have a Leap Year. February is recognized as another cold month, but here in San Diego, where it stays above 65 degrees, even in February, it’s a great time for outdoor fund despite the chilly evenings. Grey Whale Watching Tour

The best months to see grey whales in San Diego are during the winter months, between December to March, with peak sightings occurring in January and February. During this period, gray whales travel from their feeding grounds in Alaska to their breeding and calving areas in Baja California, Mexico. San Diego serves as a popular stopping point along their journey, providing ample opportunities for whale watching. 35th Annual Museum Month

Over 60 museums and cultural institutions are joining in for the annual Museum Month, offering visitors half-off admission at participating locations. Exciting additions this year include LEGOLAND California Resort with its SEA LIFE Aquarium, the California Wolf Center, Deer Park Winery & Auto Museum, and WNDR Museum San Diego. Grab your pass at over 80 San Diego public libraries and dive into the array of museums, historic sites, gardens, zoos, and aquariums across the city. Seniors Free at San Diego Zoo Safari Park

In February, visitors aged 65 and older get free admission to the Safari Park. Bring the whole family, including the kids and grandparents, for an unforgettable experience. Bluey’s Big Play at Balboa Theatre

Join Bluey and Bingo as they pull out all the games and cleverness at their disposal to get Dad off that bean bag. Bluey’s Big Play is a brand-new theatrical adaptation of the television series, Bluey, featuring brilliantly created puppets. Bluey’s Big Play run time is approximately 50 minutes (no intermission). Please note that all guests entering the theater, regardless of age, must have a ticket, including children sitting on laps.
